CIS Gaz
Founded in 1990, CIS Gaz has become a leading player in Romania’s oil and gas industry. We are specialised in engineering and construction of oil & gas transmission pipelines, surface technological installation facilities, oil& gas collection pipelines and their related compression or pumping stations. Our expertise also extends to natural gas pressure regulating and metering stations, cogeneration and solar power plants.
CIS Gaz has successfully implemented numerous energy strategic projects both in Romania and internationally, establishing a robust global presence and forming exclusive partnerships to offer a comprehensive range of products and services at the highest industry standard. In 2022, CIS Gaz proudly became a member of IPLOCA, the largest global association in the onshore and offshore pipeline construction industry.
CIS Engineering
What began as a small office focused solely on surveying activities for pipeline construction has evolved into a comprehensive engineering company. Today, we provide essential engineering support throughout the entire lifecycle of our projects.
Our engineering services cover design and planning, project management, technical consultancy, and maintenance and upgrades, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance. CIS Energy
CIS Energy is the CIS Group division dedicated to conventional and renewable energy production, development, and maintenance. Since commissioning our first photovoltaic park in Cuci at the end of 2013, we have been at the forefront of sustainable energy solutions.
The Copsa Mica park, set to be commissioned by the end of 2024, will feature 41,800 panels and is projected to generate 23 MW of power and 4 MW of storage. By the end of 2025, we’ll deliver a 15 MW cogeneration power plant in Ungheni and a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) near Targu Mures, with an installed power of 50 MW, which will be able to balance out power grid fluctuations for the entire area.
These projects underscore our commitment to expanding our renewable energy portfolio and contributing to a sustainable future. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and innovative practices, CIS Energy continues to drive progress in the energy sector, delivering reliable and efficient renewable energy solutions.
